Introduction

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains how we collect and use your information when you use TinyPages to create landing pages, deliver courses, send emails, and process payments. We've written this to be clear and straightforward, avoiding complex legal jargon wherever possible.

Information We Collect

When you create an account, you provide us with basic information like your name and email address. If you're using our paid features, we need billing information to process your subscription payments through Stripe.

As you use the platform, we keep track of how you interact with it, like the pages you create, email campaigns you send, and course materials you build. This helps us improve our service and provide better support when you need it. We also automatically collect some technical details when you visit TinyPages, including your IP address and what kind of device and browser you're using. This helps us make sure everything runs smoothly and securely.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to keep your account running smoothly, process your subscription payments, help you deliver content to your customers, send you important updates about our service, improve TinyPages based on how people use it, and protect against fraud and security issues.

Legal Basis for Processing

For users in the European Economic Area, UK, and Switzerland, we process your data based on several legal grounds. We process data to perform our contract with you and provide the TinyPages service. We have a legitimate interest in improving our platform, preventing fraud, and ensuring security. For marketing communications, we rely on your consent, and you can opt out anytime.

Keeping Your Information Safe

We take security seriously. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption for sensitive data and secure servers. We regularly review our security practices to make sure we're providing the best protection possible. All subscription payments are processed through Stripe's secure infrastructure, and we never store your complete payment card details on our servers.

Working With Service Providers

We work with trusted service providers to make TinyPages work. Stripe handles your subscription payments securely. Postmark, a premium service by ActiveCampaign, delivers your newsletters and automated emails with excellent deliverability rates. Cloudflare hosts your videos and provides content delivery services. When you use our AI features to generate sales pages and marketing content, your prompts are processed by AI providers. We've configured these services to not store or train on your data, and all generated content belongs to you.

These service providers only get the information they need to provide their services, and they're required to protect it carefully. For users in the European Economic Area, UK, and Switzerland, data transfers to service providers located outside Europe are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and Data Processing Agreements that ensure your data receives the same level of protection regardless of where it's processed.

Your Rights

You have rights regarding your personal information. You can see what information we have about you, update or correct your information, delete your account and data, opt out of marketing communications, and control how cookies are used through your browser settings.

If you're located in the European Economic Area, UK, or Switzerland, you have additional rights under the GDPR. You can request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format so you can transfer it to another service. You can object to our processing of your data for certain purposes. You can ask us to temporarily restrict how we process your data. You can lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you have concerns about how we handle your data. In France, this is the CNIL. In the UK, this is the ICO.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@tinypages.co or hello@tinypages.co. We'll respond to your request within 30 days.

Data Retention

We keep your data while your account is active to provide you with the service. When you delete your account, most of your data is permanently deleted within 30 days. Videos you've uploaded are deleted immediately from Cloudflare when you delete your account or downgrade to the Free plan. Some data must be kept longer for legal compliance, such as invoices and tax records which we're required to retain for 7 years. Data may persist in technical backups for a short period but is not accessible or used.

International Data Transfers

Because TinyPages serves users globally, your information may be processed in different countries. We're based in Hong Kong, and many of our service providers operate in the United States. For users in the European Economic Area, UK, and Switzerland, we ensure your data is protected when transferred internationally through Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and Data Processing Agreements with all our service providers. Your data receives the same level of protection regardless of where it's processed.

Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies to make TinyPages work better. These help us keep you logged in, remember your preferences, understand how people use our platform, and make our service faster and more reliable. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features might not work properly without them. We use both session cookies that expire when you close your browser and persistent cookies that remain on your device to remember your preferences.

Children’s Privacy

TinyPages is not intended for users under 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we've collected data from someone under 18, we'll delete it promptly.

Your Customers’ Data

When you use TinyPages to collect information from your customers, such as email addresses for your mailing list or customer information for your courses, you are the data controller for that information. You're responsible for complying with applicable privacy laws regarding your customers’ data, providing them with appropriate privacy notices, and handling their data requests. TinyPages acts as a data processor, providing you with the tools to manage this data, but you remain responsible for how you use it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our service evolves or to comply with legal requirements. We'll let you know about significant changes by email or through a prominent notice on the TinyPages platform, giving you time to review them before they take effect. The “Last Updated” date at the top will always reflect when the most recent changes were made. Continued use of TinyPages after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
